Sylvia Bourdon's initiative of the French-Russian Musical Event is the first part of The Musicals of the World. This first part is to take place on Thursday,  September 26,  2019 in the Madeleine Church in Paris and is intented to celebrate the Franco-Russian détente through music. This bilateral event became recently multilateral, thanks to the patronage of Mr. Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission. Recently, the Petersburger Dialog, founded ten years ago by Chancellor Schröder and President Putin, intends on Sylvia Bourdon's request, to associate to the Dialogue de Trianon. The Dialogue de Trianon has written its agreement to its German counterpart.

The cultural links between France, Germany and Russia are traditionally rich. It is not unnecessary to recall that General de Gaulle deeply loved Russia. On one of his trips, June 30, 1966, from Moscow, where he celebrated the old and unalterable Franco-Russian friendship on radio and television, he stated following : « The visit I've just made to your country is a visit that the eternal France gives to the eternal Russia. So, when I came to see you, it seemed to me that my approach and your reception were inspired by a reciprocal consideration and cordiality which, for centuries, have not been broken, either by certain former conflicts or differences of regime, or by the oppositions recently aroused by the division of the world. » Lyrical he concludes : « It is also a matter of successively implementing : détente, understanding and cooperation in our whole Europe, so that it gives itself its own security after so many battles, ruins and tears. It is a question the, of ensuring that our Old Continent, united and no longer divided, resumes its essential role for the balance, progress and peace for the universe. »This is a hot topic. To this détente and mutual understanding, we wish to make our civil society contribution through music in Paris.

Over the last five centuries, Russia France, Germany and Europe have been closely interconnected politically, economically and culturally. Particularly from the 18th century onward, the relationship between Russia and other European countries and societies extended beyond dynastic links, political alliances, economic trade and individual cultural transfers. The relationship between Russia and Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries was characterized by a high degree of cultural interconnection. Over the past three centuries, Russia and Europe were observed and commented upon in relation to one another in travelogues, the press, literature, the philosophy of history and historiography. Thus, comparisons between the two regions must be incorporated into a history of reciprocal perceptions and interactions.

In this spirit, both choirs, the Moscow State Academy Chamber Choir and the Ensemble ACCENTUS, will include Germany and Europe, by performing Beethoven's "Ode to Joy", which is also the European anthem.  The Ode to Joy could be directed by the famous German conductor, Maestro Justus Frantz and his Philharmonic Orchestra of the Nations. It seems, according his agenda that he will be available on the requested time in September 26, 2019.
